BALMUDA design, established in Tokyo of 2003, started with this vision and is dedicated to continue following this principle.
In today’s world where so many environmental issues exist, the product as well as its creators must consider and be accountable for the product's lasting and valuable quality. Because, in the end, people do not throw away items they consider being of personal value.
At BALMUDA design, we continue to strive to create products that customers feel an attraction- a personal value- to. For instance, we create most of our products by carving solid aluminum, which are assembled by hand. Even though this process requires extensive labor, it creates a truly defined finish with precision and beauty like no other.
In a world where disposable items have become so prevalent, we believe that a great product or a valuable product does not always need to be lightweight or compact. Thus, our product to some may at times seem heavy or oversized or even have too strong of a characteristic. In doing so, we strive to create the best— to create a product that you want to value.
