NumberKey: Unable to connect and/or properly function (For Mac)

The NumberKey functions by connecting your iPhone/iPod touch and Mac through a Wi-Fi network.

Foremost, please check that Wi-Fi network is turned on to both your iPhone/iPod touch and Mac.
Secondly, please check that both your iPhone/iPod touch and Mac is connected to the same wireless network.

If after the above has been checked and still the problem persists, please view the below for further information.

(1) System requirements for iPhone/iPod touch

Please verify the following:

- iPhone OS version 2.2.1 or later is in use.

- NumberKey version 2.0 or later is in use.

(2) System requirements for Mac computer

Please verify the following:

- Mac OSX 10.5.5 or later is in use (Leopard).
or
Mac OSX 10.4.11 or later is in use (Tiger).

- NumberKey Connect ver. 2.0 or later is in use.

- Your computer hardware is compatible with the Wi-Fi network (has Air Mac feature).
*Please be advised that some Macs such as the Mac Pro has limited options regarding Wi-Fi functions.

NOTE: When too many of the special preferences in “Universal Access” (under “System Preference”) are turned on, the NumberKey application may not operate as intended.

NOTE: When a mouse and/or keyboard driver other than from Apple Inc. is in use, the NumberKey application may not operate as intended.

(3) Requirements for wireless network and Wi-Fi base station

Please verify the following:

- The Wi-Fi base station is for a basic home/office-use only.

- Network setup has basic security features such as password protection.

NOTE: In places with high-security such as a large-scale office the NumberKey may not operate properly.
NOTE: Some wirelesss networks may have low compatibility with your device causing NumberKey to function inconsistently. Please consult with your network administrator for guidance and further information.

(4) When to reinstall the application

When none of the above suggestions are effective, please try reinstalling the NumberKey on your iPhone/iPod touch.
