Warranty and After-Sales Service

This product does not come with a warranty card. For product repairs, handling instructions, and maintenance inquiries, please contact the Balmuda Support Center (https://www.balmuda.com/jp/support/).
1) The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase.
2) Repair and replacement services are provided by our company.
3) The retention period for repair parts is five years after production ends. Repair parts are components necessary to maintain the product’s functionality.
4) Warranty and after-sales services for this product are provided only for products sold in Japan and are available exclusively through service channels within Japan.

For free repairs, please contact the Balmuda Support Center (https://www.balmuda.com/jp/support/) and have your proof of purchase ready.
Handling of personal information during repair consultations:
1) Balmuda Inc. uses your personal information for customer support, repairs, and verification, and may keep records of consultations for these purposes.
2) Except in the following cases, personal information will not be provided to third parties outside our company:
(a) When outsourcing repair, verification, or shipping tasks.
(b) When required by law.

This warranty guarantees free repairs under the conditions described in the product guide, main label, and other instructions during the warranty period for failures occurring under normal use. This warranty does not limit your legal rights against the warranty issuer or other parties.

1) Even within the warranty period, the following cases are excluded from coverage, and we assume no responsibility:
(a) Failures or damage caused by use contrary to the product guide, main label, or other instructions.
(b) Failures or damage due to misuse, modification, or improper repairs.
(c) Failures or damage caused by moving the installation location, dropping, relocation, or transportation after purchase.
(d) Failures or damage caused by fire, earthquake, wind or water damage, lightning, other natural disasters, salt damage, pollution, gas damage (such as sulfur gas), or use of non-specified power sources (voltage, frequency).
(e) Failures or damage caused by intrusion of insects or small animals.
(f) Failures or damage from use or storage in vehicles, ships, or extreme temperatures, humidity, or dusty environments.
(g) Failures or damage from use outside general household environments (e.g., commercial use).
(h) Cases without proof of purchase (receipt, delivery note, etc.).
(i) Accessories or consumables (except when damage is due to material or manufacturing defects).
(j) Cosmetic issues such as discoloration from aging, surface damage, or natural wear and tear (including scratches and dents).
(k) False claims regarding the cause of failure.
2) Even within the warranty period, shipping costs to send the product to our service center and travel expenses for on-site repairs are borne by the customer.
3) Depending on the failure and circumstances, product replacement may be provided instead of repair.
4) Recycled or substitute parts may be used for repairs. Replaced parts will be properly handled and disposed of by our company.
5) We do not compensate for damages caused by inability to use the purchased product due to failure.
6) When transferring ownership, please include all accessories and the quick start guide that came with the product. Also, please delete the product registration from your BALMUDA ID My Page.
7) This warranty is valid only in Japan.
