Time Setting in the App

When linked with the app, in addition to manual settings on the device, you can synchronize with your smartphone’s time zone or specify any time zone in the app. Also, it periodically obtains the correct time (UTC time) from the internet.

*Immediately after linking, “Syncing with smartphone” will be displayed as selected in the app’s “Time Setting”.

Sync with Smartphone Time

By syncing with your smartphone’s time, you can always display the time of the same region as your smartphone, even when traveling abroad or on business trips where the time zone changes.

Select “Set Automatically” from the app’s “Time Setting.”

Selecting “Set Automatically” will delete the time set on the device.

Select “Sync with Smartphone.”

Tap “Done.”

Time Zone

You can also display the time of any time zone separately from the smartphone’s time.

Select “Set Time” in the app, then choose “Set Automatically.”

Selecting “Set Automatically” will delete the time set on the device.

Select “Specify Time Zone,” then tap “Time Zone.”

Select a time zone.

Complete the setup by following the dialog.

Manual Setting on Device

Selecting “Manual Setting on Device” allows you to adjust the time to your preferred setting. This can be used when you want to set the time 5 minutes ahead of your current location time, for example.

When The Clock is linked with BALMUDA Connect, it regularly obtains the correct time (UTC time) from the internet. The time adjusted on the device operates as an offset from UTC time. For example, if the UTC time is 0:20, Tokyo time is 9:20 (UTC+9 hours), and the device is set to 9:25, the device operates as “UTC+9 hours 5 minutes.”

Press and hold the device’s month button, sun button, and crown simultaneously to enter time setting mode.

Turn the crown to select “Hour” then “Minute,” and press the crown to confirm.

Second Time Zone

You can set two types of time zones: the main time zone and the second time zone. The second time zone can only be set from the app.

Tap “Second Time Zone” in the main screen’s time setting to go to the time zone selection screen.

You can search and set the time zone.

Confirm Second Time Zone

Press the crown once while the clock is displayed to show the second time zone. After 5 seconds or pressing the crown again, it returns to the main time zone display.
